Thomas son of Michael O’Donoghue and Elizabeth Burn stated on his wedding Certificate that he was from Old Castle ….further research has lead us to believe he was originally from Cavan and then from Dublin, he also stated his father was a plumber, he himself worked as a Fireman on ships and in mines, he came to Tasmania and the story goes on ……with not many results
