Born to Raymond Francis Donohue I and Gertrude Emily LeRoy, both of St. Louis, MO. Lived in Normandy, MO, a suburb of St. Louis. Known fondly as "Ellie", she worked for St. Louis television station as producer and director. Was co-creator of the children’s radio show "Cricket and Millie." Was an accomplished amateur singer. Served as an ad executive for Batz-Hodgson-Neuwoehner in St. Louis.
