Patty was the lead singer of a group called "The Waitresses. She later worked in A& R finding other talented musicians. Patty’s voiced was described as "cheeky," "dry," and "knowing." She is said to have had a "playful sexiness" that commanded attention. Patty died of lung cancer after battling it for a year. She is buried in Cleveland’s hartback Cemetery.
