The original ad copy for this ABC Afterschool Special describes its heroine as a "Footloose Flashdancer who might be headed for Fame" — thereby setting something of a record for pithy references to other movies of the era. Lisa Williams (Teresa Donahoe) is a talented aspiring dancer with but one major shortcoming: a debilitating fear of failure.
