My art has been primarily self taught. I have had the help of many talented artists’ books, several college courses, and the good fortune to participate in a few workshops.

My current medium of choice is watercolor, with a focus on portraiture. I find working from photographs is the best approach for me. Photos will "hold" the subtle shadows in place. I have also experimented in everything from handmade books to painted furniture, collage, sculpture, and interior decorative techniques.

Over the past 15 years I have divided my time between developing my talents and raising a family.
