Anne tells me that a much older cousin told her the name was originally Donoghue I wouldhave thought that Donockley would have been Donachy originally particularly with origins in Tyrone. Strictly Donachy is derived from Donnchaidh (ie not Ò Donnchadh the origin of O’Donoghue)but the two names have become transposed in many family trees so I have tried to cover it as well.
