Born June 24, 1809 Glenflesk, Co. Kerry. Son of John and Annora Donoghue. Married Glenflesk to Margaret Shea (1812-1904) dau of Jeremiah Shea and Margaret Lyons. Also lived Cahirciveen, Co. Kerry. To Vermont, USA about 1850(?) Both John and Margaret died in Northfield, VT and are buried in "old Catholic" cemetery there with "native of Glenflesk, Co. Kerry, Ireland" on their tombstones.
