Owen Donoghue was my gggrandfather. he married a catherine west (father william, mother Catherine o’connell) from the 1881 census we know she was born in Co Cavan. have been unable to trace own’s death certificate. we believe they were married in ireland and moved to glasgow because my ggrandfather, francis, was born there. they had another son james who died aged 18 and believe there was another son, john.
