John Donoghue s/o John & Hanora b.1809 Glenflesk parish m. Margaret Shea b.1810 d/o Jeremiah Shea & Margaret Lyons m. Feb 1838 Glenflesk parish "de Killeen" in 1840 but Rossacroo in 1845 & 1846.
John had three brothers: Roger, Denis, & Timothy. All to Northfield, Vermont, USA, John in 1851.

Ellen O’Donoghue, was born in Rusheenmore, Glenflesk, Co. Kerry. Her father may have been a Florence. A Florence O’Donoghue and Patrick Kelly(I) were witnesses to her marriage to Patrick Kelly(II). The Kellys were from Old Forge, Glenflesk.
