James Dunahoe/O’Donoghue (793)

Searching for information on James Dunahoe (c.1831-1862. CSA soldier, died in the War), who married Lina O’Neal (c. 1831-?) pf Anson County, North Carolina, and had three children, Elvira (c.1852), Sarah (c.1854) and James Martin (1858/9-1935). James later spelled his name O’Donoghue. Lina was, I think, the youngest of eleven children born to Kindred O’Neal (c.1785-1855) and his wife Culia Hayles (1790s-1840s), and my 4th great aunt.

Andrew Dunahue (786)

This is where I am stuck. Andrew Donahue (b. ~1833, Ohio) is listed on the 1850 U.S. census and the 1870 U.S. census as Andrew Donaho, married to Elizabeth with 5 kids, but I cannot find anything more on him before this, namely his father and mother, past that they were from Virginia.
