Thomas, Patrick or Mary Donahue (donohoe) (657)

Thomas Donahue came to the USA in about 1843. His parents were Patrick Donahue and Mary Cornelia. Unsure where in Galway he came from or if Galway is his birth place. He was married to a unknown Shaunessy in about 1841 and they had a daughter Bridget. This wife died in Ireland after Thomas had come to the USA. Later Thomas brought his daughter to the USA as well as his sister and brother, Mary and Patrick. It is unknown if there were other siblings. He came first to unknown (poss. Boston) and later settled in Wisconsin.

I am searching for any details on my Dad’s side of the family O’Donoghue / Donoghue. They were are travelling family so I only have stories to go by. My grandad spent some time with a travelling fair as a strong man. He married my grandmother Catherine Doherty in Ballina Co. Mayo on 23/04/1939

Vessel Corona sailed 2 Nov 1875 from London, as assisted passengers, listed as, Donohue Cath aged 20 dairymaid, and her Sister Ellen aged 12.
Also her Mother, Margaret aged 47, daughter Winifred aged 11, Teresa 10, Annie aged 8, on Vessel Westland, from the Clyde, Scotland, sailed 29 January 1879, for Port Otago NZ, arriving 21 04 1879, from Galway.
Am chasing any info on above persons, also the Husband/Father Martin Donohue, or any other relatives / family Ireland, Worldwide and NZ, also Margaret’s maiden name of O’Grady, Ireland, NZ or worldwide.
