Daniel Donoghue (787)
Father named James and a brother called James also.
Andrew Dunahue (786)
This is where I am stuck. Andrew Donahue (b. ~1833, Ohio) is listed on the 1850 U.S. census and the 1870 U.S. census as Andrew Donaho, married to Elizabeth with 5 kids, but I cannot find anything more on him before this, namely his father and mother, past that they were from Virginia.
Daniel Donoghue (785)
John O’Donohoe (783)
John O’Donohoe (781)
John O’Donohoe was my grandfather born 1887. His father was Thomas O’Donohoe.
Bedelia (Bridget) Fitzpatrick (780)
Bedelia came to Australia in 1840 with her husband John O’Donoghue. He was 26 and Bedelia 19. His parents were James O’Donoghue, a farmer in Ennis and Annie Kelly. Bedelia’s parents were John Fitzpatrick, a farmer in Ennis and Juliana O’Brien. Interestingly John uses the name Donoghue when registering the children’s births in NSW and Bedelia uses the name Bridget. Whether these are the true names and the shipping clerks got it wrong I don’t know.
