ELISABETH (ELIZA) DONOHUE (922)
Elisabeth shows up as bride of Pierre Marleau, married on 10 Jun, 1854 at St Paul’s Catholic Church, Aylmer, Hull, Quebec, Canada. The marriage records says that she is the adult daughter (estimated born in the early 1830s) of John & Elisabeth Murphy Donohue of County Carlow, Ireland.
I don’t know when she immigrated to Canada or whether other family members came as well around the same time.
Being a woman, she is my direct mTDNA ancestor. I am trying to track down all her female descendants to try mTDNA testing in the next few years.
