Patrick's sister Mary's Godparents were James Fitzgerald and Mary O'Mahoney. Catherine Purcell, Patrick's wife, was baptized on 10th of July 1864. Her parents were John Purcell and Bridget Doran of Mealiffe. Her Godparents were Denis Keefe and Maria McCarthy. Catherine's sister, Bridget was baptized on 22nd October 1866. Godparent was Kitty Kennedy. They were both baptized in the Ballycahill and Holy Cross Parish.

Martin Donohue emigrated to Paterson NJ before 1857. He and his wife Bridget Conlon had Thomas (1859), Martin (1860) and Susan (1865).
His parents were John and Bridget, and they were weavers.

Bridget Donoghue was born abt 1856 and married Daniel Murphy born about 1850 in the RC Church Killarney 1 Feb 1874. Bridget was from Gortdromakiery and Daniel from Kilquane at the time of their marriage and they lived in Gortdromakiery after their marriage.
There children were all baptised in the church above and were:

Parents - Jeremiah Donaghue & Catherine Fitzgerald who married 12 Feb 1852 in RC Church Killarney and her siblings were baptised in this church also.

Patrick was born on 27th of September 1864 and Baptized on 29th of September in the Glounthane Parish. He was the son of Patrick Donoghue and Mary Fitzgerald. His Godparents were Bartholomew Lynch and Ellen Fitzgerald. His sister, Mary was Baptized in the same church on the 21st of April, 1867. Patrick married Catherine Purcell on the 16th of July, 1887, in the Church of St. Patrick, City of Cork.

Philip Donahue purchased land in JoDaviess County, Ilinois in 1857. He was born ca 1810 in Ireland, county unknown. He married Mary Hays and had one son, Philip, born in 1850. The elder Philip died before 1857 when his wife married Phillip Hennessy, stating she was a widow. Philip and Mary Hennessy, and son Philip, moved to Houston County, MN in the early 1870's where the son married Mary Shortell. She died in 1891 and Philip Donahue moved to Winona, MN with his family.
